Boilermaker Work Supports the Columbia Basin

[Click to Enlarge] Proud crew of Boilermakers who give their employer the Boilermaker Advantage every day.
Recently, Boilermakers from Lodge 359 completed their work at the $900 million Waneta Expansion Project in the Columbia Basin area of BC. The excellent work of the Boilermakers kept the repair rate for the welds on the spiral cases less than 2%. The Boilermaker "we do the job right the first time" approach allowed their Employer, Voith Hydro, to reach the safety, environmental and production mandated goals of the client, Columbia Power.
The Waneta project will not only supply 335 megawatts, it will create social, economic and environmental benefits for the well-being of the residents in the Columbia Basin region.
