District Lodge D-11 Members Step Forward
Business Manager of Lodge D-11, Kevin Forsyth, has recently seen members of his district lodge stepping forward to accept leadership positions at their
local, and recognized a need to provide training. On November 26, 13 members from D-385, D-400 and D-486, all based in the Lower Mainland of
B.C., gave up important family time on a Saturday to participate in the Basic Steward class. In the summer of 2017, Forsyth will again organize more
training for D-11.

Mike Breneton, President of D-486, noted that the program has strengthened his resolve to keep pushing forward.
Lodge 146 has scheduled steward training for their members on December 13-14 in Edmonton. They also recently held a class in Calgary on December 6-7.
