Please be advised that the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) requires approved travel documents to enter Canada. These documents must be valid for at least one year from anticipated date of entry into Canada. To travel via airplane a passport is the ONLY acceptable travel document. If travelling by land (depending on the border crossing point) you will require a valid passport OR passport card OR enhanced drivers license OR enhanced ID card.
Effective January 1, 2012, US Members wishing to register on the online system OR US Members who have already registered and wish to post (or renew) on the Travel Card Pool will be required to provide information concerning their valid travel documentation. You must specify the type of travel document, the issuing country and the expiry date. There will be a 30 day grace period for all US Members currently registered on the Travel Card Pool.
